Why do people buy chests?

I never bought a chest, from what people said I guess Its not worth it at all the chances of actuall good drop are super slim

From personal experience, even the chests with good stuff will almost always give random keys. I suppose it's possible to luck out and get the good chest items, but I've seen videos on YouTube with dozens of submissions that get the exact same random key. I suppose that's mathematically possible, but chests do seem a bit rigged.
