It depends on your type of playstyle. If you want to play aggressive and close to your enemy, assassins are the best class (but for teamfights you will need someone who will ingage, allowing you to do as much damage as possible, because if you throw yourself into the fight first you will die instantly). On the other hand, if you want a ranged approach and want to be more "defensive", pick a mage, with it you can poke the enemy until you kill him.
