Article Editor Feature Suggestions

The article editor is very basic, making it difficult to write better high quality articles. There should be more formatting option, like font, text size, color, quote, tables, etc. There should be real Rich Text support. Maybe mardown or bbcode format can be added, or use CKEditor instead. Also, the editor space to type the article in is very small. Either it should be large enough to see the content properly, or be resize-able. A full screen toggle option would be great too.
