Each of us in our childhood loved stories told by parents and grandparents, in which we learned about interesting events from the lives of our ancestors, their adventures and funny anecdotes. A Story about my Uncle is just one of such stories. The story in the game is carried out in an interesting way - in the first act of the game we play the role of a man who tells his child about one of his extraordinary adventures from his youth. The reconstruction of this story is the plot of the game.
The real story begins when we get to the home of our uncle - a man known for his eccentric ideas, interesting inventions and chilling adventures. Uncle, however, is not at home, but in one of the rooms we find a strange suit and a machine that takes us to the alternative world ... Gameplay is available from the first person perspective.
A Story about my Uncle was originally created as an independent student project. However, the game met with considerable interest and high ratings from the recipients, so the developers decided to transform it into a full-size title.
A Story about my Uncle is a 3D arcade platformer, which was created by the group Gone North Games in 2014. What is not typical for platformers, the game offers a first-person view. The journey through the world full of interesting locations takes place with the help of an energy whip, which allows you to jump even on far away platforms. This item also works well when attracting various items.
