I don't know why everyone seems to despise this tank.. It's not that bad but I did indeed like the Tiger 1 better.
It has some armor, side scraping works in it.

So I've just come back to the game after close to a year away and was stoked for the Christmas events, I've been hammering away at the missions to get the boxes for decorations and my decorations level is at 9 with 2 ornaments still needing to be level 5. The issue I see is with the missions I can only earn 6 more boxes.. which may not be enough to hit level 10 and absolutely will not be enough to finish off a collection. My question is, is there something I'm missing? Is there other ways to earn shards or decorations? and I'm aware of the decoder and how it works, I've just had terrible luck with it so far.

Τhis is just a speculation, but since Shady mentioned rereleases as an issue and since i think as a mod he knew what is coming in December for xmas , in pretty sure there will be rereleases for this Xmas

Need to add a vote to kick option and a recently played with menu in game(because steams doesn't work) in order to block and kick trolls. I know you can blacklist people in chat but they have to be in chat. I just played a Christmas heist and some loser named -EDIT- sat outside the circle at the last checkpoint before Gronch untill we had 20 seconds left to fight him. They seem to have made a breakthrough, and now they need large amounts of uranium ore. In exchange for the ore they are ready to lift the veil of secrecy over their laboratories and build unprecedented weapons and modules. The previously unwanted (except maybe for cozy tent lighting) yet quite rare ore suddenly became one of the most valuable barter items. So much so that obtaining it is now literally impossible. Somehow, mysteriously, the Engineers found new deposits or caches with the valuable resource. And once a week they broadcast coordinates of the next cluster of this valuable resource. It's time for clan wars...

After the maintenance hour, I opened the launcher. It started downloading some files, but after a while, it turned to "Preparing to download". I tried to reopen it, it downloaded a little more MBs and stuck again. Now it starts that whenever I open the launcher. Any ideas to help me? Thanks.

Hey my leviathan had 3 victories and 0 loses 3 min ago then i got disconnected after the market error 415 and i have 1 loss 0 victories WHY? cmon i lost all the rewards.....and now i cannot launch the leviathan...

So far I have found very little information on this, so I want to throw my two cents in; I wish this was a once a day thing, so many times i get thrown into a group that seems to be levelling planes from scratch, which kinda sucks because the rewards are crap in PvE modes, and for people who are playing just for the booster.... it kills the group. Lastly my top picks for lower level planes to use (just because I've witnessed people bringing planes that clearly suck against bombers); 1. at 3.0 the p-47, any variant including the german premium with a BR of 2.7 ( best mix of armour, speed, turn time, burst mass and energy retention) all top pilot's with 25+ kills use this plane at this tier, I prefer the ground target belt, however some pilots swear by the tracer belt. 2. at 2.3 bf 110 at this tier you face the lowest tier enemies ( good armour, climb and speed are acceptable, weapons are unmatched at this tier + a rear gunner ). nothing at 3.0 or below can come close to these planes, there are some higher tier planes that really excel at assault mode, although not everyone has high tier planes unlocked for every country so I did not want to go into them! If anyone wants to add to this list of recommended planes for assault mode : air, please do so!

I have been wondering if some info exists to explain the scoring system deciding your team rank at the end of battle? Intuitively, when I look at how I did compared to other team mates after battle (tank battles), it feels as if "enemy kill assists" give you more points than actual tank kills or capping? For example, I often have more kills and caps than players above me, but they may have more assists. If there is something to this observation, it's kind of an odd incentive for players, as it is easier to stay with the pack and get some "assists" rather than risking your neck capturing caps and killing tanks on your own (or being the leader of the pack risking enemy fire), which has more weight on the battle outcome? I am not trying to raise any issues here, just want to understand things better - Thx!

I start this topic by saying there is a pattern for long time in WT. Appears usually when you playing vehicles that needs mods. Researching modules for your vehicles will fall into "defeat branch " simply because if you have victory than a 120% RP bonus will apply to your score at the end of the battle. In 95 % of the cases when you are in top players in your team with kills and zone captures, k assists than you have big score but in 95 % of the cases will be a defeat so the 120 % victory bonus doesn't apply. I tested this on several vehicles I was researching,spading lately M56,T95 E1, Vickers MBT, Leopard A1, Ghepard, STB1 (very prone to this pattern, 99% of the big score battles are defeats), SU 100P, T55, BMP. In simple words the server will deny the 120% victory bonus so the research rate will always go slow forcing you to find alternatives like buying the modules with gold.

Perhaps Air Assault could be retroactively added to War Thunder back before everyone gave up on researching jets? Really, I'm just spit-balling here, because honestly who is this game mode even for at this point? Why even include Air Assault in War Thunder in this worthless state? Alleviation of the grind around end-game is the surest way to streamline progression and get more people into these woefully vacant queues. That process should begin by walking back the 380,000 RP.
