Frostpunk is a social survival, a combination of RTS and survival. The plot of the game takes place in a frosty post-apocalyptic world, kept in steampunk style. Our task is to protect a handful of survivors after a huge glaciation.

Frostpunk is a strategy and adventure survival game set in a frosty post-apocalyptic world. The game is mainly based on a combination of real-time strategy and city builder, what the developers call “society survival”.
The game takes place in an alternative version of the world from the 19th century. Due to the great glaciation of the globe, a handful of survivors is looking for a shelter near a heat generator that will protect them from freezing.
With the development of our settlement, we have the possibility of expanding the town by new public buildings and taking in more survivors. Our main task is to manage the community of survivors in such a way as to keep them alive for as long as possible. Often, the protection of the public forces us to take ambiguous moral decisions (for example, to sacrifice individuals for the benefit of the group) and to establish restrictive laws. Governments will protect the community against unnecessary loss of raw materials, but belittling social attitudes may lead to rebellion, which is why balancing our decisions is necessary.
With the development of our city, we also get more and more opportunities, thanks to which we can afford to explore the outside world and increase our influence.
