BioShock Infinite, also known as Project Icarus, is a game released in 2013. The creator of the game is the Irrational Games studio, which made, among others, previous parts of the BioShock series. BS Infinite is not strictly the third part of the saga about the underwater metropolis, but a spin-off of the BioShock series. The game was released simultaneously on both consoles and PC platforms. BioShock Infinite is a FPP shooter, combined with action, science fiction, fantasy and sometimes even horror story elements. In this game creators put on the extraordinary story and interesting, unusual solutions. BS Infinite is set in a dystopian world with a disturbing history. It starts at the beginning of the 20th century. The BioShock Infinite universe is an alternative, astonished version of our world. The storyline of the game tells about the main character - Booker DeWitt who was fired from the detective agency and begins career on his own. As a private investigator he gets more and more unusual contracts. One of them leads him to a city called Columbia. As it turns out, Columbia is a flying city in which nothing is what it seems to be. The city was supposed to be a safe place, but it turned to a flying dystopian fortress. We meet Elizabeth during the game. We have to save and get her out of the city. She quickly becomes our helper. There are dozens of different weapons available in the game. In the course of the game we will get some special powers. After BioShock Infinite you can actually expect everything. Flying, telekinesis and paranormal situations are common here. The game, despite a very understandable ending, leaves us with a great "wow" written on our face. Everyone who wants a decent dose of a strange, but captivating story and fantastic action should play this game. The series has three games, of which the first two are a complete story. BioShock Infinite, as a spin-off of the previous parts, tells a completely different, fresh story. BioShock Infinite was created in 2013 and at the same time it was released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The game was made by Irrational Games studio, which also released previous parts of the BioShock series and many other games. Creators of BioShock Infinite focused on unconventional mechanics and an extraordinary plot. The game is set in an alternative reality at the very beginning of the 20th century. It tells the story of Booker DeWitt. DeWitt is a former detective agency worker who started a career on his own. After getting an unusual case, he is taken to Columbia ... which turns out to be a futuristic, dystopian flying city. Nothing in the city is what it may seem, and the hero's next adventures seem to be more and more detached from reality. BioShock Infinite serves us a huge dose of great entertainment. There is plenty of shootings, riddles, sneaking, detective motifs and even a bit of horror. The game surprises with a very interesting, unconventional plot and interesting solutions.
